Location: Hilo Hawaii
Pay Rate: $50 $53/hr
Contract: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Night shift; various shift lengths and days required
Total Working Hours: Scheduled 36 hours
Experience: Minimum 2 years of Med-Surg experience required
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Med-Surg for a 13-week night shift contract in Hilo HI. This role requires flexibility with shift lengths workdays floating needs and patient care assignments within a busy medical unit.
Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients
Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes appropriately
Administer medications and treatments as ordered
Support care involving wound vacs chest tubes and acute medical needs
Float to other units as needed including Laulima and Cardiovascular units
Maintain accurate documentation and follow facility protocols
Work collaboratively with physicians nurses and care teams
Requirements
Active Hawaii Registered Nurse license required by assignment start
Minimum 2 years of Med-Surg nursing experience required
BLS/BCLS certification required
ACLS certification required
Must be flexible with shift lengths days and unit assignments
Holiday coverage required
Flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exception required
Must arrive before start for employee health clearance
