Adelphi is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide on-site nursing services for a School in Sarasota County Florida.
The ideal candidate will work closely with school administration to provide services to students in accordance with established guidelines and standards of practice.

Requirements:
Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Florida
Current CPR/BLS certification
Minimum one (1) year of nursing experience (preferred)
Minimum one (1) year of experience working with students in a school setting.
Minimum one (1) year of experience working with students with multiple disabilities.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care under the supervision of an RN
Administer medications and prescribed treatments
Monitor students with chronic medical conditions
Assist with daily health assessments and screenings
Document nursing services and student health activities
Respond to student illnesses and emergencies
Support implementation of Individualized Healthcare Plans
Communicate with school staff and parents regarding student health concerns
Maintain confidentiality of student health information
Perform additional duties as assigned
