About the Role We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Arcata CA. This night shift role supports critical care patients in a hospital setting and requires strong ICU nursing skills clinical judgment and the ability to respond effectively to high-acuity patient needs.
Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to critically ill ICU patients
Assess monitor and document patient condition and response to treatment
Administer medications IV therapy and critical care interventions as ordered
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
Respond quickly to changes in patient status and emergency situations
Maintain accurate documentation using CPSI/Evident
Follow infection control patient safety and facility care standards
Requirements
Active California Registered Nurse license required
BLS certification required
ACLS certification required
Minimum 3 years of ICU/Critical Care experience required
Proof of negative TB screen within 12 months of contract start required
CPSI/Evident experience preferred
Night shift availability required
Holiday coverage may be required
