Schedule: Monday Friday day shifts
On-Call: Required based on unit needs

Requirements: NY RN License CNOR BLS DaVinci Robotics Experience

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse First Assistant Robotics OR for a contract assignment in Rochester New York. This role requires strong robotic surgery experience DaVinci system familiarity and the ability to support complex surgical cases in a high-acuity operating room setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide RNFA support during robotic and general OR procedures

• Assist surgeons with exposure retraction suturing and intraoperative support

• Support robotic urology GYN colorectal thoracic surgical oncology and general surgery cases

• Maintain sterile technique and follow OR safety protocols

• Collaborate with surgeons anesthesia scrub staff and circulating nurses

• Prepare for assigned cases and anticipate surgical team needs

• Participate in on-call coverage based on unit needs

Requirements

• Active New York Registered Nurse license required

• CNOR certification required

• Current AHA BLS certification required

• ACLS preferred AHA only

• DaVinci robotic surgery experience required

• Experience with robotic urology GYN colorectal thoracic surgical oncology and general surgery required

• Minimum 2 years of OR experience in a Level 1 trauma setting preferred

• Must be able to work Monday Friday day shifts with on-call responsibilities

• Strong communication surgical judgment and teamwork skills required
