Outside Sales Representative Elkhart IN


Our client is growing and looking to add an experienced Outside Sales Representative to their team. This is a full-time opportunity offering a strong compensation package commission potential and the tools needed to be successful in the field.


This is an excellent opportunity for a driven sales professional who enjoys building relationships developing new business and helping customers find the right solutions. While experience in the garage door industry is preferred our client is willing to train someone who brings proven sales success and a strong desire to grow their territory.


Job Duties:

  • Developing new business through cold calling prospecting and relationship building
  • Maintaining and growing existing customer accounts
  • Meeting with customers on-site to discuss projects and identify their needs
  • Measuring door openings and gathering information for quotes and proposals
  • Preparing and following up on sales opportunities
  • Building relationships with contractors builders businesses and homeowners
  • Tracking sales activities and maintaining customer information
  • Working closely with internal teams to ensure accurate orders and customer satisfaction
  • Representing the company professionally throughout the sales process

Requirements:

  • Proven outside sales experience with a track record of generating new business
  • Strong prospecting and cold-calling skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
  • Ability to manage multiple customers and projects simultaneously
  • Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record
  • Garage door industry experience is preferred but not required
