About the Oracle Veteran Internship Program (OVIP):
Oracle is proud to sponsor an internship and integration program that exposestransitioning military veterans and active-duty Military Spouses new to the corporate cultureprovides hands-on job-skill training and experience and offers enhancedprofessional and personal Oracle we are committed to thedevelopment and professional growth of our veterans and military spouses. Our paidinternship program is specifically designed to aidmilitary veterans transitioningservicemembers and active-duty military spouses new to the corporate sectorintheir transition to a career in the private or public sector.
Veterans and Military Spouses accepted into our program will work closely withcorporate leadership military veteran coaches and HR professionals to help preparefor a successful transition. Interns will engage in on-the-job training and professionaldevelopment in fields such as information technology technical/systems consultingtechnical support facilities finance human resources logistics marketing sales ordevelopmental training in sales or for customer support (as available).

Additional Information:
Hourly wage is $30 per hour. This is a 40 hour per week position
Responsibilities
As a Solution Engineer Intern at Oracle you will have the unique opportunity to work alongside our seasoned pre-sales consultants and contribute to customer engagements. This internship is designed to provide you with exposure to various aspects of pre-sales consulting including product demonstrations solution architecture customer presentations and technical sales support. You will have the chance to collaborate with cross-functional teams learn from industry experts and develop the skills needed to excel in a pre-sales consulting role.
Responsibilities:
1. Support pre-sales consultants in understanding customer requirements and translating them into effective technology solutions.
2. Assist in the preparation and delivery of compelling product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers.
3. Collaborate with the pre-sales team to develop customized solutions addressing customer challenges and objectives.
4. Assist in technical sales support activities including product configuration proof-of-concept development and solution testing.
5. Contribute to the creation of high-quality sales collateral including proposals whitepapers and case studies.
6. Stay up to date with the latest industry trends Oracle products and competitive offerings.
7. Support the pre-sales team in providing post-sales technical support and addressing customer inquiries.
Requirements:
1. Military veteran with an honorable discharge possessing a strong work ethic discipline and dedication to excellence.
2. Interest in pursuing a career in pre-sales consulting or a related field within the technology industry.
3. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
5. Technical aptitude and ability to quickly grasp new technologies.
6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
7. Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint).
8. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
9. High attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

US: Hiring Range in USD from $18.17 to $34.62 per hour; from: $37800 to $72000 per annum.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge skills experience market conditions and locations as well as reflect Oracles differing products industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position.
