Field Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities
Create test maintain update and support standard Windows desktop and laptop images.
Review and develop standardized endpoint images aligned with enterprise standards and approved configurations.
Deploy operating system images to desktops and laptops using approved enterprise image deployment processes.
Validate image functionality application compatibility security controls and operating system configurations prior to deployment.
Support device provisioning configuration software installation and operating system deployment activities.
Create and maintain image documentation build procedures testing results and release records.
Support hardware refresh replacement migration deployment and re-imaging activities.
Coordinate with application owners and support teams to ensure software packages are compatible with standard desktop images.
Test and certify image updates patches drivers and software releases before production deployment.
Maintain image versions and support release management activities for desktop image updates.
Ensure all image configurations comply with customer security operational and configuration management standards.
Required Skills
Strong experience in Windows desktop and laptop imaging.
Experience creating maintaining testing and deploying enterprise desktop images.
Experience with OS deployment image refresh and device provisioning activities.
Knowledge of desktop application packaging and software deployment concepts.
Experience supporting enterprise endpoint standards configurations and lifecycle management.
Strong troubleshooting documentation and communication skills.
