Job Summary

The Role

This role combines marketing expertise with subject matter knowledge of the practices business lines to strengthen how our products and services are positioned in the market through clear well executed marketing and insight.

As the Marketing Manager you will aid in the development and execution of marketing plans; particularly for high-profile projects coordinate content strategy facilitate industry event preparation and follow-up and provide proposal support across business lines. Through these efforts you will establish a cohesive brand presence for the practice and its business lines.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide proposal and RFP support by managing timelines refining messaging formatting templates and editing content to ensure submissions reflect Millimans brand standards and competitive positioning.
  • Manage and scale content production by coordinating with internal stakeholders corporate marketing partners and external freelancers.
  • Manage the practices brand presence across digital and print channels including websites LinkedIn client presentations print collateral and select multimedia content such as videos and podcasts.
  • Define success metrics for content initiatives track performance and apply insights to improve results over time.
  • Translate complex thought leadership and technical insights into clear marketing materials social content and presentation slides that differentiate Millimans products and services.
  • Manage and co-develop high-visibility quarterly newsletters in partnership with consultants including content development distribution and ongoing refinement.
  • Drive internal marketing enablement bymaintainingthe central repository of approved sales assets case studies and presentation decks.
  • Serve as a marketing advisor to consultants by improving presentation quality sharing best practices and ensuring teams can effectively use available marketing assets in client pursuits.
  • Prepare consultants for industry events by developing tailored collateral and event-specific briefing materials.
  • Lead post-event follow-up by coordinating with consultants ontimelyoutreach to conference leads documenting market intelligence and capturing lessons learned.

Job Knowledge and Experience Required

  • Bachelors degreein marketingjournalismora relatedfield.
  • 4years of experience inB2BMarketing for aconsulting financial servicesor technology firm.
  • Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign Illustrator Photoshop Premiere Pro After Effects Adobe XD)
  • Experience in Microsoft applications (Excel Word PowerPointOutlookand Teams)

Qualifications and Experience

  • Background withFinancial Services ConsultingorTechnology Marketing:Demonstratedexperience inB2Bmarketingoffinancial servicestechnologyorsoftware products.
  • Complex Content Translation:Demonstratedability to synthesizehighly complex technical topics or thought leadership and translate them into clear engaging and digestible content for non-technical clients and audiences.
  • Visual Communication and Collateral Design: Comfort with data visualization and graphic to elevate standard text into polished visually compelling client presentations pitch decks andmarketing collateral that reflect a premium brand identity.
  • Web & Multimedia Management:Experience managing web presence and digital media at acting as strategic liaison between internal leadership and external technical teams (such as web developers design agencies etc.) to execute a unified brand vision.
  • Proposal & RFP Coordination: Demonstratedexperienceproject-managing writing or formatting formal business proposals and RFPs under tight deadlines.

  • Process Discipline & Follow-Through:Highly organized with strong project management discipline.

Location

Candidates hired into this role will be required to work in-person in the Milliman office in Chicago IL on a weekly basis but flexible work arrangements will be expected application deadline for this job is July 10 2026.

Compensation

The overall range for this role is $82455 - $131905. A combination of factors will be considered including but not limited to education relevant work experience qualifications skills certifications etc.
