Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Procurement Manager to oversee the sourcing and purchasing of goods and services for our organization. The ideal candidate will develop procurement strategies negotiate with suppliers manage vendor relationships control costs and ensure the timely delivery of quality products while maintaining compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that support business objectives.
  • Source evaluate and negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors.
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality cost-effectiveness and reliable delivery.
  • Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with internal departments to forecast purchasing needs.
  • Prepare and manage procurement budgets while identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies legal requirements and ethical standards.
  • Evaluate supplier performance through regular reviews and performance metrics.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks and develop contingency plans.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records contracts and procurement documentation.
  • Collaborate with finance operations and other departments to support organizational goals.
  • Stay informed of market trends pricing and industry developments to improve procurement strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration Procurement or a related field.
  • 5 years of procurement purchasing or supply chain experience including leadership responsibilities.
  • Strong negotiation contract management and vendor relationship skills.
  • Excellent analytical organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with ERP systems and procurement software (e.g. SAP Oracle NetSuite or Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Excel.
  • Professional certifications such as CPSM CSCP or CIPS are preferred but not required.
