Job Description
Job Summary:
This position will participate in the technical build test and processing of Teledyne FLIR Ranger high definition camera - mid range systems (HDC- MR) in support of all phases of production.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform system level functional and optical performance testing and troubleshooting on a variety of challenging surveillance/defense sub-assemblies and finished end-product camera systems.
Test camera systems and critical sub-assembly components in accordance to manufacturing test specifications (test instructions test data sheets functional ATPs optical alignment performance criteria and system discrepancy reporting).
Interface with production team and technical support staff to maintain manufacturing quality and efficiency while actively participating in day-to-day manufacturing goals.
Inspect and verify all daily work to ensure it is performed accurately and efficiently according to all quality performance specifications.
Interface with technical team to ensure all manufacturing test methods are standardized and documented to the latest versions.
Support the maintenance of test fixtures and test equipment.
As directed provide support in test process improvement projects.
Job Qualifications:
3 years of related technical experience within a high-tech manufacturing environment.
Associates Degree in electronics or technical equivalent a plus.
Technical versatility in electrical mechanical and/or optical alignment testing strongly preferred; infrared (IR) testing experience a plus.
Troubleshooting skills and proficiency with setting up and using test and alignment equipment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and computer systems for digital work instructions test data collection traceability reporting and communication.
Practical problem-solving skills.
Attention to technical details.
Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
Collaboration teamwork and ability to contribute independently.
Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen U.S. national legal permanent resident asylee refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.

Salary Range:
$44500.00-$59300.000The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including but not limited to location local regulations (such as minimum wage) education/training work experience key skills and type of position.
