Logistics and Quality Control Associate
The George E. Booth Co. LLC is a locally-owned and operatedindustrial automation sales company looking to hire their next full-time Logistics and Quality Control Associate. GEB is a majordistributor of process instrumentation products and related services tocustomers in Illinois Indiana Kentucky Ohio and Tennessee.
The ideal candidate will be able to receive store ordermaterials for warehouse stockroom and/or storage while maintaining anorganized working environment. A clean driving record required. This role comeswith a competitive compensation plan and paid overtime as well as excellentbenefits. All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the UnitedStates.
Responsibilities:
ÂPackand unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms warehouse or storageareas.
ÂStoreitems in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses tool rooms supplyrooms and other areas.
ÂExamineand inspect stock items for wear or defects reporting any damage tosupervisors.
ÂReceiveand count stock items and record data manually or in computer system.
ÂMarkstock items using identification tags stamps and electronic marking tools orother labeling equipment.
ÂPreparecustomer orders to be distributed.
ÂKeeprecords information and order details updated in electronic tracking system.
ÂKeephistorical records and compile reports.
ÂAllother duties as assigned by supervision.
Requirements:
ÂMust be willing to travel locally and have a clean drivingrecord
ÂMinimum 3 years experience in warehouse
ÂStrong organizational logistical and communication skills
ÂHigh School Diploma or equivalent required.
