Under the general supervision of the school-based administrators this professional assists teachers students and other staff in the school in coordinating and improving the instructional planning of instruction delivering instruction and analyzing instruction and data in order to improve academic success.

Works with colleagues in an atmosphere of trust and teambuilding
Facilitates professional development
Monitors lesson plans to ensure that all phases of the planning process are followed
Interacts with the whole school community to build positive relationships
Assists with the School/District Renewal Plan
Accepts the role of school improvement facilitator under the direction of the principal
Encourages teachers to use proven methods and materials where appropriate for improving instruction for all students
Helps plan and implement new programs and procedures
Supports the administration and teachers by performing related duties as required.
