Job Summary
A financially strong privately owned wholesaler of building supplies has an immediate opening for an executive level General Manager for our Mobile AL branch. With sales volume on the rise we need a leader with a proven track record of exceptional customer service sales skills team building and training abilities. The General Manager position has a wide range of responsibilities including team and sales management with a focus on building strong customer relationships.
Responsibilities Include:
- Sales Management of outside and insides sales
- Build and promote strong long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with and understanding their needs
- Responsible for sales margin and growth
- Personnel Management including recruiting training and coaching staff
- Operations Management of facility and staff including full P&L responsibility with adherence to policies and procedures
Keys to Success in this Manager Position:
- Sustained track record of strategy development and execution
- Proven breadth of general management ability in sales and marketing and operations
- Skilled in people development and work culture enhancement
- Hands-on experience in managing multiple business challenges

- Building and managing local team of diverse positions

- Expanding on current business and acquiring new business

- Bachelors Degree or higher preferred
