GHJ Search & Staffing is partnering with a growing apparel manufacturing and private label company with approximately $100M in annual revenue that is seeking a Financial Controller to join its leadership team.
This is a highly visible role reporting directly to the CFO and overseeing the companys accounting operations financial reporting cost accounting inventory accounting audit support and cash flow management.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead month-end and year-end close
Manage AP AR GL payroll and financial reporting
Oversee cost accounting inventory WIP and inventory-in-transit
Manage factoring relationships and A/R financing
Lead audits and ensure GAAP compliance
Partner with Production Sourcing Logistics and Executive Leadership
Manage and develop the accounting team
Ideal Background:
Prior Controller experience
Apparel manufacturing wholesale private label or import production experience
Strong cost accounting and inventory accounting knowledge
QuickBooks Online expertise
Advanced Excel skills
Experience in high-volume transaction environments
Factoring and financing experience is a plus
This company is looking for a hands-on leader who understands the operational and financial complexities of overseas production inventory management and large retail customer relationships.
