Position Summary Mitchell Technical College is seeking a highly organized professional and service-oriented Executive Assistant to the President. This position provides comprehensive administrative support to the President and Leadership Team while serving as a key point of coordination for executive operations communications and institutional initiatives. The ideal candidate demonstrates discretion exceptional communication skills attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide executive-level administrative support to the President and Leadership Team.
Manage calendars scheduling travel logistics and meeting coordination.
Prepare and edit correspondence reports presentations agendas and meeting materials.
Serve as the primary liaison between the Presidents Office and faculty staff students community partners and external stakeholders.
Maintain confidential records and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
Assist with institutional events community engagement activities and special projects.
Support internal and external communications on behalf of the Presidents Office.
Monitor deadlines and proactively follow up to ensure timely completion of institutional projects and reports.
Perform other duties as assigned in support of the mission of Mitchell Technical College.
Minimum of three years of administrative support experience preferably in executive office or higher education setting.
Excellent written verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook) and standard office technologies.
Comfort and familiarity with modern digital workspace tools including an openness to utilizing basic Artificial Intelligence (AI) utilities for drafting scheduling or routine task efficiency.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse groups.

Ability to anticipate needs exercise discretion initiative and mature judgment in making sound decisions.
