District Sales Manager, Oncology

Job Summary
Territory: Tennessee Alabama Louisiana Mississippi

Lead a district team of oncology sales representatives to deliver compliant promotional execution build trusted customer relationships and achieve sales growth in support of the oncology franchise. This role is accountable for developing talent leading through change and translating brand strategy into effective local execution that drives business results and supports patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead coach and develop district team members to achieve individual and team performance goals.
- Drive field execution and coordinate with cross-functional partners to support aligned customer strategies.
- Develop strong expertise in oncology disease state competitive landscape and market dynamics.
- Translate national and brand strategy into actionable local plans and customer engagement tactics.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including physicians administrators IDNs GPOs and other decision makers as appropriate.
- Deliver district performance against sales market share and execution objectives.
- Identify opportunities barriers and market shifts; develop and execute action plans to address them.
- Manage district budget resources and deployment priorities to maximize business impact and return on investment.
- Promote a culture of accountability inclusion continuous learning and performance excellence.
- Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with applicable laws regulations and company policies.
Qualifications :
Required
- Bachelors degree required.
- 10 years of experience in biotech pharmaceuticals or healthcare commercial roles.
- Oncology sales account management or related field leadership experience with documented success.
- Experience leading coaching and developing a sales team.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions.
- Excellent communication presentation coaching and influencing skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in a highly matrixed environment.
- Driving a personal auto or company car or truck or a powered piece of material handling equipment.
- Valid drivers license: Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving requirements.
Preferred
- Advanced degree such as an MBA or other relevant graduate degree.
- Experience in solid tumor oncology with lung and ovarian cancer experience preferred.
- Experience with GPO IDN hospital or specialty account management.
- Experience managing change in a complex commercial environment.

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
