Based in Los Angeles we are seeking a proactive highly organized Communications Coordinator to support the execution of the firms public relations initiatives. This role provides essential organizational and operational support for strategic media relations press engagement and third-party publishing initiatives. This ideal candidate demonstrates strong judgment attention to detail and a service-oriented mindset and will gain broad exposure to communications and client experience work.
This role reports to the Senior Director Communications and will collaborate with colleagues across the firm to enhance visibility and strengthen the firms profile.
Responsibilities include:
Monitor daily media coverage and prepare media round-up emails.
Draft edit and update communications materials including press releases and deal notes.
Assist with media lists media strategy discussions and media outreach.
Draft and post communications materials to the intranet and website.
Compile media performance data and track KPIs to help assess communications impact and support PR analytics reporting and future strategy development.
Organize and maintain editorial calendars and track deadlines.
Develop and maintain efficient systems to organize communications materials for easy access.
Handle administrative functions including calendaring ordering reprints managing invoices and maintaining files.
Stay current with industry trends and communications best practices.
Promote effective work practices and provide excellent client service to team members and other constituencies.
Qualifications:

Exceptional professional interpersonal skills: ability to communicate and work with team and other constituencies respectfully and professionally.
Strong written communication and proofreading skills.
Strong project management and time management skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a quick paced environment.
Exhibit willingness and aptitude for identifying and implementing AI-driven tools.
Excellent client service skills and a positive high-energy attitude.
Ability to work overtime as necessary.
Experience:
University degree preferably in Communications English or Journalism.
2-4 years of experience in public relations preferred.
Prior experience in a law firm other professional service firm preferred.

Compensation & Benefits:
The annual compensation range for this position is $65000 - $80000. The salary offered within this range will depend upon qualifications and other operational considerations.
