Key responsibilities involve generating new business retaining renewals and ensuring the overall profitability of the designated book of business.

Your New Role

• Ensure all documentation is accurate and complies with organisational guidelines and legislative requirements.
• Contribute to pricing strategy per equipment type and location.
• Monitor and review underwriting standards procedures and checklists.
• Identify new business opportunities and self-insurance prospects.
• Learn about new products and understand commission structures for each in order to enhance relationships with intermediaries.

About You

• Underwrite new and existing policies following organisational policy and underwriting standards.
• Deliver timely decisions and problem-solving solutions for customers and intermediaries.
• Contribute to the achievement of operational objectives for the underwriting function and/or business unit.
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with all customers intermediaries and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications:
Tertiary Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
