Werelooking for a UX/UI Designer who brings equal strength in user experiencethinking and interface craft. This role sits at the intersection of bothdisciplines: youll define how users move through the product and how it looksand feels when they get there.

Inpractice roughly half your time will be on UX - wireframes flows andusability - and half on UI execution: working directly in our Figma designsystem to produce polished production-ready interface designs. The UI half iswhere we need the highest bar. We have been establishing a design system namedGladus that needs a designer who can work within it rigorously extend itthoughtfully and raise the visual and interaction quality of everything ittouches.

Thisis a craft-forward hands-on role. Youll collaborate closely with technicalproduct managers and owners web application team leads and engineers andwhen relevant within research initiatives - but youll spend most of your timedoing not coordinating.

Key responsibilities:

UI design & design system

• Design high-fidelity screens and components directly in Figma working within and extending our existing design system Maintaining component consistency across our portals and products
• Apply strong visual judgment to typography spacing color iconography and layout - not just functional correctness but visual quality
• Collaborate with engineers and technical product owners during handoff and QA to ensure pixel-level implementation fidelity

UX design & flows

• Create wireframes and interaction flows that define user journeys before moving to high-fidelity
• Apply information architecture principles to ensure navigation and structure are intuitive
• Use product analytics to identify where users struggle and translate that into concrete design changes

Collaboration

• Partner with technical product managers to understand requirements and push back when the scope would compromise the user experience
• Work with user and customer experience research conclusions to consume and apply user insights - you wont lead research but youll act on it.
• Participate in design critiques with evidence-based rationale for your decisions
• Contribute to design system documentation so your work is usable by the rest of the team

• 25 years of experience in UX/UI or Product Design ideally in an in-house environment with a portfolio demonstrating both UX thinking (e.g. user flows wireframes) and high-fidelity UI execution including the rationale behind design decisions
• Strong proficiency in Figma including components variants auto-layout design tokens prototyping developer handoff and working within established design systems
• Solid understanding of UX and interaction design principles including information architecture user flows visual hierarchy typography spacing color micro-interactions loading states and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA)
• Experience collaborating closely with developers and cross-functional teams with the ability to translate design concepts into implementation-ready specifications
• Ability to leverage user research insights and industry best practices to create intuitive and user-centered experiences
• Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills combined with a high level of empathy attention to detail and a collaborative solution-oriented mindset
• Fluent English language skills
