Test Analyst French Speaker
Job Summary
The Test Centre (TCE) provides testing services based on a well-established and proven testing strategy and methodology. The teams core activities include test design and test execution across complex business applications ensuring software quality and successful project delivery.
As a Test Analyst you will contribute to the quality assurance process by designing executing and monitoring test activities ensuring that business and functional requirements are met while supporting project objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Test Design & Planning
- Contribute to the design and preparation of test scenarios and test cases based on business requirements.
- Ensure compliance with project methodologies standards and deliverables.
- Register and maintain test assets within the designated testing tools.
- Prepare validate and communicate testing deliverables within the assigned scope.
- Prioritize testing activities according to project needs and risk assessment.
- Support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the testing team.
Test Execution & Monitoring
- Execute planned tests and validate expected results.
- Record test execution results and evidence in the appropriate tools.
- Provide relevant information to support Go/No-Go decisions.
- Monitor testing progress and proactively report risks impacting quality scope or timelines.
- Communicate project status and testing outcomes to the Test Lead and management.
Defect Management
- Identify document and track defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Log defects in the designated tools and ensure proper follow-up.
- Contribute to defect prioritization and resolution activities.
- Perform re-testing and validation of implemented corrections.
- Provide input for test closure reports and project documentation.
Quality Standards & Continuous Improvement
- Adhere to organizational values testing standards and best practices.
- Follow established testing methodologies processes and quality guidelines.
- Participate in workshops training sessions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to the continuous evolution of testing practices and team knowledge.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Software Testing.
- Experience in test planning execution defect management and reporting.
- Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall environments.
Technical Skills
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Knowledge of ISTQB principles and testing terminology.
- Ability to build and manage test plans and schedules.
- Risk identification assessment and follow-up capabilities.
Language Skills
- French (mandatory).
Nice to Have
- 5 years of experience in software testing.
- Experience in Insurance and/or Financial Services projects.
- Knowledge of:
- ALM Octane
- SQL
- API Testing (Postman SoapUI or similar tools)
- SAS
- Control-M or other scheduling tools
- ISTQB Certification.
- Customer-focused mindset with a strong quality orientation.
- Strong learning agility and adaptability to changing environments.
