System Monitoring Technician

THE ROLE

We are looking for a #TechTalent to work as aSystem Monitoring Technicianfor a project in banking sector.

WHAT YOULL DO

• Monitor IT systems networks servers and applications using monitoring tools (Nagios).
• Respond to alerts and system incidents in real-time ensuring timely identification and resolution of issues.
• Escalate critical incidents to relevant IT teams based on defined protocols and severity levels.
• Perform initial troubleshooting steps to assist in identifying root causes.
• Ensure system availability and backups
• Document incidents interventions and outcomes in the ITSM/ticketing system.
• Produce regular reports on system health incidents and performance trends.
• Collaborate with IT infrastructure cybersecurity and support teams to maintain service quality.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the organizations systems and monitoring tools.
• Propose improvements to monitoring processes and alert configurations.
  

WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR

• 3 years hands-on experience withLinux Windows et IBM i5 systems
• Solid working experience in Shell scripting
• Experience withSQL language
• Knowledge in Databases: Oracle Postgres SQL Server
• Experience withTCP/IP
• Fluent in english and french (mandatory)
• Portuguese a strong plus
