Opened in 2025 our Lisbon Regional Operation Center has grown to over 50 employees within less than ten months with ambitious plans to expand to 300 employees by 2027.

About the role

As Strategy & Transformation Manager reporting into the Head of Transformation & Post-Merger Integration you will partner with Cynclys Business Unit (BU) and Functional leaders to translate strategy into measurable outcomes; build a rigorous automated performance rhythm; and drive cross-functional initiatives from definition through to impact. You combine top-tier consulting toolkits with strong business acumen and AI adoption. The role is hands-on analytical and stakeholder-facing; you will produce executive-ready insights and materials while coaching teams to adopt modern AI-enabled ways of working.

Main Responsibilities

A. Strategy & execution performance

  • Build and continuously improve monthly and quarterly BU performance scorecards helping to surface risks their root causes and corrective actions.
  • Operate a single source of truth for initiatives (charters milestones benefits confidence levels) with crisp cadence risk management and escalation paths.

B. Transformation delivery & value creation

  • Lead (or PM) cross-functional workstreams from problem definition to solution design and adoption; remove blockers and secure decisions quickly.
  • Develop robust analyses and business cases (commercial product go-to-market operational) that translate insights into prioritised actions.
  • Partner with GMs and functional leaders to ensure accountability for outcomes not just activity.

CD. Stakeholder management & communications

  • Act as a trusted partner to BU GMs Functional Leaders Finance Product Sales and People teams; run effective operating rhythms (weekly monthly quarterly).
  • Produce crisp narratives supported by data and tailored to the audience from operator-level actions to Executive-level forums.
  • Model high standards of written communication meeting hygiene and decision logging.

D. AI-led automation & analytics

  • Identify automation opportunities across all processes you touch; prioritise and deliver by impact and feasibility.

Key Requirements:

Must-haves

  • 3-5 years at a top-tier management consulting firm or equivalent high-performance environment with a track record in strategy execution and operating improvement.
  • Strong business acumen: ability to translate strategy into KPIs/OKRs operating plans and measurable outcomes.
  • Analytical & technical capability:
  • Advanced spreadsheet modelling and data storytelling.
  • Demonstrable AI adoption.
  • Exceptional communication (written verbal and visual) with exec-ready materials and an ability to influence.
  • Programme/project management excellence: multi-workstream planning dependency management risk/issue handling and benefit tracking.
  • Proven cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management across time zones and cultures.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in B2B SaaS ERP design/manufacturing software or data-rich product businesses.
