About the Role

Were building something exciting in Lisbon.

As part of our European technology transformation were establishing a brand-newengineering hub in Portugal and were looking for aSoftware Engineering Managerto help shape it from the ground up.

This is a high-impact leadership role where youllbuild teams scale delivery and shape engineering culture while working closely with product architecture and delivery leaders across Europe.

What Youll Be Doing:

Lead & Grow Teams

• Lead coach and developTech Leads and engineering teamsacross multiple products
• Create an environment where engineers cangrow perform and feel valued
• Drive performance career development and a stronginclusive culture

Build the Lisbon Hub

• Play a key role inscaling a brand-new engineering hub
• Hire top talent in the Portuguese market
• Help shape thelong-term team structure and workforce strategy

Own Delivery

• Ensure teams deliverhigh-quality software on time and within scope
• Managecapacity risks and delivery planning
• Partner closely with Product QA Architecture and Service teams

Drive Engineering Excellence

• Championmodern engineering practices and DevOps culture
• Promote quality throughautomation observability and continuous improvement
• Use metrics (e.g. DORA) toimprove team performance
• Support the adoption ofAI-assisted development tools and practices

What Youll Bring

• Proven experience as anEngineering Managerleading multiple teams
• A strong background insoftware engineering(you can speak the language)
• Experience delivering inAgile environments
• A track record ofbuilding and scaling teams(ideally in new locations)
• Ability to balancepeople leadership and delivery ownership
• Strong stakeholder management skills across technical and business teams
• Knowledge of thePortuguese tech market
• Fluent inPortuguese and English
