Job description

Full-time. Mon to Friday including Portuguese holidays (exc. Xmas and New year) 1pm to 10pm

Experience
- 4 -5 years of experience in Vendor Management Procurement Operations support Manages Services or related functions.
- Demonstrated experience in working with Service Providers and Third-Party Vendors.
- Familiarity with Contract Management and Supplier Governance processes.

Role Overview
Reporting to the Service Manager based in Portugal the Sr. VMS will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day Vendor Management activities service delivery operational performance and continuous improvement initiatives across BPO operations. This role requires management capabilities analytical thinking experience and the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day service delivery activities across operational teams ensuring achievement of agreed SLAs and KPIs.
- Monitor identify and report operational risks to the Service Manager.
- Monitor continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization activities.
- Ensure quality consistency and compliance with approved procedures and governance standards.
- Provide transparent reporting insights and recommendations to the Service Manager.
- Support monthly service performance reporting activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive service excellence and customer satisfaction.

Required Skills & Competencies
Must Have
- Experience managing a team within a BPO environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent analytical and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of service management principles and operational governance.
Preferred
- Experience in Vendor Management and Procurement.
- Previous team management
- Experience working with international teams and clients.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and process optimization frameworks.

Education
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration Finance or a related field (preferred).
