Senior Java Developer

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to join our Electronic Equities Team contributing to the development and evolution of a critical Client Reporting platform.

This application plays a key role in the generation of regulatory and business monitoring reports serving both internal stakeholders and external compliance requirements. The team focuses on delivering high-quality scalable solutions while ensuring the accuracy integrity and timeliness of reporting data.

The technology stack is primarily centered around Java and Spring frameworks with modern frontend applications built using Angular and React. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced globally distributed environment within the Investment Banking domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Design develop and maintain mission-critical reporting applications and services.
• Deliver high-quality scalable and performant software solutions following best engineering practices.
• Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including:
  • Requirements analysis
  • Solution design
  • Development
  • Testing
  • Code reviews
  • Technical documentation
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Support application releases and work with production support teams to ensure system stability and reliability.
• Provide Level 3 (L3) support and troubleshooting for production incidents when required.
• Contribute to continuous improvements in development processes automation testing and operational excellence.
• Work effectively within Agile development teams and participate in sprint planning retrospectives and daily stand-ups.

Qualifications :

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience gathering and analyzing business requirements.
• Experience working within Agile software development environments.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and quality assurance practices.
• Experience with reporting data processing or business intelligence platforms.

Technical Skills

• Strong programming experience with Java 8
• Solid experience with:
