Senior AI Solutions Architect

We are seeking a highly experienced and hands-on Senior AI Solutions Architect to design and deliver enterprise-grade agentic AI solutions. This pivotal role involves leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) and integrating them with critical business platforms such as ServiceNow ERP systems and data & analytics environments. The ideal candidate will translate complex business challenges into innovative AI-driven workflows automation and seamless system integrations ensuring solutions are secure scalable and production-ready. This is a 100% remote position requiring alignment with Portugal business hours (9:00 AM to 6:00 PM or 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM Portugal time).

• Design and define end-to-end architectures for enterprise Generative AI solutions.
• Develop and implement agentic AI systems and multi-agent architectures.
• Integrate AI solutions with enterprise platforms including ServiceNow Salesforce SAP Oracle and similar systems.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate use cases into scalable AI-driven solutions.
• Ensure solutions meet stringent production requirements for performance scalability security reliability and maintainability.
• Define and implement AI safety strategies guardrails and risk mitigation approaches including grounding techniques and prompt injection prevention.
• Evaluate and balance architectural trade-offs such as latency vs. accuracy and automation vs. human control.

• 5 years of software engineering experience.
• Strong backend development expertise (Python preferred).
• Proven experience designing and delivering Generative AI solutions in enterprise environments.

• Hands-on experience with LLMs (e.g. GPT-4o o-series models) within Microsoft Azure environments.
• Strong understanding of:
  • Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and Grounding strategies.
  • Tool/function calling patterns.
• Experience designing:
  • Agentic AI systems including Orchestrator architectures and Multi-agent architectures.
  • Workflow-based agents (LangGraph or similar).

• Experience integrating AI solutions with:
  • ServiceNow
  • Salesforce
  • ERP platforms (SAP Oracle or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of:
  • REST APIs.
  • Enterprise integration patterns.
  • OAuth.
  • Microsoft Entra ID.
  • RBAC.
• Ability to design end-to-end workflows across multiple enterprise systems.

• Experience with:
  • Performance Scalability Reliability Observability Logging Monitoring KPI definition.
  • AI safety mechanisms and operational guardrails.
• Ability to balance business needs technical constraints and operational requirements.

• Experience with:
  • Microsoft Azure Azure OpenAI Azure AI Services.
  • Docker Azure Container Apps Azure App Services.
  • CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
