Job Details

Maia Portugal Hybrid 2x per week in Porto/Maia Financial / Retail sector

Key Responsibilities

• Develop ABAP logic to read SAP tables and extract relevant business data
• Apply business rules defined by the functional team
• Generate output files in CSV TXT or similar formats
• Create and manage batch jobs and scheduling processes
• Implement error handling and ensure the consistency and reliability of data extractions
• Optimize the performance of extraction processes when needed
• Ensure simple and reliable integration with the filesystem or defined delivery mechanism
• Collaborate with functional stakeholders to validate data context and extraction rules

Mandatory Requirements

• Mid/Senior experience in SAP ABAP development ideally 4 to 6 years
• Mandatory experience with SAP ECC
• Experience reading and manipulating SAP data
• Basic knowledge of the FI module to understand and contextualize financial data
• Experience developing robust data extraction processes from SAP tables
• Ability to generate files such as CSV TXT or similar formats
• English level B2 minimum

Nice to Have

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA including exposure to CDS Views and new data models
• Experience with different integration types such as IDoc RFC or file-based integration
• Ability to optimize performance in data extraction processes
