Project Coordinator & Mechanical Designer (fmdiv.)
Job Summary
The role combines business development and project management responsibilities to support and expand BMG business and influence.
The role is responsible for the coordination of BMG machine projects going to Portugal and support the team with quick mechanical designs and technical coaching.
While reporting to and being supported by the BMG Spain the role acts as the local representative of BMG Spain in Portugal main location in Braga maintaining close customer contact and promoting the companys technical solutions locally.
Sales Manager Responsibilities
- Acquisition of new clients and development of new business projects
- Proactive identification of customer needs and new business opportunities
- Main location in Braga and customer visits within Portugal
- Follow up on customer satisfaction
Project Manager Responsibilities
- Responsibility for projects of assembly lines and machines.
- Acting as Project Manager with full responsibility for planning execution and monitoring of projects
- Ensure project efficiency
Mechanical Responsibilities
- To be able to do quick designs and with the time full machine design
- Supporting the BMG team in Braga with technical opinion and sketches
- Participation on technical discussions internally and with customers
Qualifications :
- Bachelors or Masters degree in mechanical Engineering;
- Familiarity with production lines automation and assembly environments;
- Good mechanical design skills and experience;
- Proficient use of IT tools (e.g. SAP MS Office);
- Willingness to travel (Portugal and Spain);
- High motivation to take on responsibility and ambitious challenges;
- Strong empathy and ability to work with customers and cross-functional teams;
- Good communication skills;
- Team player with a cooperative mindset;
- Independent reliable and responsible working style;
- Entrepreneurial mindset;
- Mechanical design: 3D tolerance-chain calculation drawings.
