Job Summary

Positions based in Portugal

We are seeking highly skilled and motivated Field Service Engineers to join our team based in Lisbon Portugal.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge industrial equipment and contribute to the growth of our operations in the Portugal market.

You will:

  • Perform on-site installation maintenance and repair of industrial equipment for clients in Portugal 
  • Conduct regular preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients including training on proper equipment usage and maintenance
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and implement solutions for recurring issues
  • Maintain accurate records of service visits repairs and parts usage using computerised maintenance management systems
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while working on-site
  • Serve as a technical liaison between clients and the company ensuring clear communication of issues and solutions
  • Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with the logistics team for timely delivery of required components.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in engineering (Electrical Mechanical or related field)
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer is preferred
  • Proven expertise in diagnostic and repair techniques of the industrial equipment
  • Strong knowledge of electrical mechanical and hydraulic systems ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
  • Proficiency in using computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in challenging environments
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese
  • Relevant technical certifications (e.g. CompTIA A Network) are desirable
  • Detail-oriented approach with a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS / WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • The main work area will be Lisbon but travel should be expected both within Portugal and abroad for short to medium assignements.  
  • On-call duties and night and/or weekend work.
