Key responsibilities:

• Participates in the entire software development cycle - requirements analysis design and development unit testing and documentation

• Responsible for long-term code reusability and stability

• Proactively identifies security usability etc. issues and formulates strategies to resolve them

• Works independently without guidance with a broader overview of the project

• Takes ownership of the delivery of complex application features and resolves key technical issues related to the assigned project

• Complies with the estimation process and is responsible for accurate personal estimates

• Develops required software features achieving timely and quality delivery

• Delivers trainings and participates in knowledge sharing

• Mentors new software engineers in the team

• Integrates new technologies

• Understands and follows the release processes in the company

What we are looking for:

• 6 years of experience with PHP;

• Academic background in IT or equivalent;

• Strong working experience and knowledge with PHP from 7.3 to 8.1;

• Clear understanding of OOP Design Patterns and anti-patterns and SOLID principles;

• Working experience with relational Databases DBMS;

• A good understanding of project tools (Atlassian OR git/svn ...) is required;

• Experienced with testing layers (unit integration and functional testing);

• Knowledge in algorithms and distributed systems;

• Proficiency in English.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Ecom solutions such as Magento Prestashop CS-Cart xCartOR any PHP CMS as WordPress Drupal Joomla etc;

• Knowledge in JavaScript (ES6)is a plus;

• Experience with services/microservices oriented architecture ideally in an e-commerce scope;

• Familiar with SCRUM methodology.
