Operational Project Manager Trainee
Job Summary
As an Operational Project Manager Trainee you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and timely delivery of activities and projects within the Operations scope. You will work closely with Team Leads and Senior Leadership tracking project progress and supporting the organization and delivery of operational initiatives. Expect to be part of a collaborative team engaging with colleagues across Euronext Market Services Euronext Securities and Euronext Clearing locations.
Key Accountabilities
You will be primarily responsible for:
- Acting as the point of contact for various project-related topics and new initiatives.
- Organizing and lead regular meetings to safeguard internal organization and day-to-day project execution.
- Tracking and monitoring project deliverables to ensure adherence to schedules and quality standards.
- Supporting project management activities including oversight risk identification and mitigation and change request management.
- Monitoring technical and quality compliance and assessing project financial performance.
- Communicating effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and progress.
- Contributing to the implementation of best practices and the continued success of Euronext businesses.
- Gaining exposure to financial markets including trading clearing and settlement and IT infrastructure at a high level.
Knowledge Skills and Experience Required
- Degree in a related field.
- Good communication skills both oral and written.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Affinity with Microsoft Office applications.
- Interest in financial markets is desirable.
- Knowledge of ITIL or Agile methodologies and experience with the Kanban framework is a plus.
- Hands-on mentality and structured approach to work
- Ambition and potential to develop a successful IT career
- Ability to multi-task prioritize and work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong awareness and interest in technology and project management.
- Problem-solving oriented.
- Fluency in English (used daily to communicate with other teams and stakeholders).
- Eligible for an IEFP Level VI Internship.
