Nearshore Sector | Senior Microsoft 365 & Cloud Security Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Microsoft 365 & Cloud Security Engineer with a strong consultant mindset to join our team in the Technology Consulting & Public/Enterprise Sector.

This is a high-impact fully autonomous and client-facing role. We are not looking for an M365 Administrator or an operational L3 profile. Instead we need a senior engineer with a strong security mindset who can lead their workstream technically from day one drive technical discussions and confidently recommend architecture solutions directly to the client without internal shadowing.

Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership & Consulting: Act as the primary technical point of contact for the client driving discussions defining strategies and recommending M365 and Security solutions.

• Hybrid Exchange Architecture: Design implement and manage complex hybrid Exchange environments (On-Premises Exchange Online) handling coexistence techniques and appliance requirements during migrations.

• SharePoint Architecture & Modern Workplace: Lead SharePoint 2019/SE and SharePoint Online initiatives with a deep focus on information architecture taxonomy content types and modern search configurations.

• Identity & Device Management: Manage hybrid identity environments using Entra ID and Active Directory alongside endpoint management via Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Teams deployment.

• Cloud Security Governance: Design and enforce security policies using the Microsoft Defender Suite (Defender for Endpoint Identity and Office 365) Microsoft Purview and advanced Conditional Access policies.

Qualifications :

• Total Autonomy: Ability to onboard and deliver immediate value from day one without internal supervision.

• Client-Facing Seniority: Proven experience leading technical workshops managing stakeholders and presenting recommendations to clients.

• Proven Hybrid Deliverables: A solid track record of real hands-on implementations in complex M365 hybrid environments and the Microsoft Security Stack (not just theoretical or certified knowledge).

Technical Stack

• Core M365: Exchange Online / On-Premises (Migrations & Coexistence) SharePoint Online & SharePoint 2019/SE Microsoft Teams.

• Identity & Access: Entra ID (Azure AD) Active Directory (Hybrid Management) Conditional Access.

• Security & Compliance: Microsoft Defender Suite (for Endpoint Identity Office 365) and Microsoft Purview.

• Unified Endpoint Management: Microsoft Intune.

• Nice-to-Have: Experience with MECM / SCCM.
