Job Summary
In this role you will contribute to ensuring a stable supply chain strengthening supplier relationships and driving purchasing excellence across international projects.
Your contribution to something big:
- Support the development and implementation of global category and sourcing strategies for direct materials.
- Gather analyze and interpret purchasing and market data to identify opportunities for consolidation standardization and cost optimization.
- Contribute to material family planning and supplier strategy activities.
- Support ramp-up and ramp-down projects by helping secure supplier capacities and ensuring material availability.
- Monitor supply chain performance and assist in identifying and communicating potential material shortages.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to help mitigate supply chain risks and support alternative sourcing activities.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and cross-functional international teams.
- Prepare reports analyses and presentations to support purchasing decisions.
- Support the continuous improvement of purchasing processes and IT tools including SAP and PILUM.
Qualifications :
What distinguishes you:
Education
- Masters degree in Engineering Business Administration Supply Chain Management Procurement or a related field.
Experience
- At least 1 year of experience in Purchasing Procurement Supply Chain Management or related commercial functions.
- Experience in an international environment is considered an advantage.
Know-how
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Interest in strategic sourcing and supplier management.
- Knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain concepts.
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is an advantage.
- Negotiation experience is a plus.
Languages
- Fluent in English.
- German language skills are a plus.
