Investment Sector | Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Engineer to join our technology team. This role is responsible for designing maintaining and optimizing mission-critical infrastructure environments that support business applications and services. The successful candidate will work closely with software development teams drive infrastructure automation initiatives and contribute to the organizations technology roadmap.

• Provide infrastructure expertise and technical support to software development teams.
• Design implement maintain and troubleshoot Linux-based production environments.
• Automate repetitive infrastructure and operational tasks to ensure consistency scalability and efficiency across distributed environments.
• Monitor analyze and optimize operating system performance particularly for low-latency applications.
• Support virtualization and container-based platforms.
• Participate in server deployments data center build-outs infrastructure upgrades and operating system migrations.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools using Python Shell or similar technologies.
• Ensure the reliability availability security and performance of production infrastructure.
• Research emerging technologies and industry trends providing recommendations and contributing to the companys technology roadmap.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational processes and infrastructure standards.

Qualifications :

• Hands-on experience with Linux system administration including Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and/or SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES).
• Strong understanding of operating system performance tuning for low-latency applications.
• Experience with virtualization and container technologies.
• Experience supporting server hardware data center deployments and operating system migrations.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python Shell scripting or similar languages.
• Proven track record of supporting mission-critical server infrastructure in production environments.
• Strong troubleshooting analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced highly available production environment.
