Job Summary
Internship: Medical Governance Trainee
You will join the Medical Governance team in Portugal as a trainee for a 12month this role you will support key activities that help safeguard patients and ensure high medical and compliance standards working closely with medical safety and compliance teams.
This internship offers hands-on experience structured learning and the opportunity to contribute to meaningful work while developing core skills in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support medical governance activities ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
Assist in maintaining standards training materials and compliance checks
Contribute to monitoring activities and follow-up on corrective actions
Support the preparation of risk assessments and mitigation plans
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Medical Safety Digital)
Prepare reports summaries and support medical documentation
Basic Qualifications
Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences
Fluent in Portuguese and good level of English
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint)
Strong organization and attention to detail
Willingness to learn follow processes and work in a team
Preferred Qualifications
Previous internship or exposure to medical affairs or similar environments
Good written and verbal communication skills
Interest in the pharmaceutical industry and its dynamics
Curiosity for digital tools and innovation
Working Model
Hybrid role based in Lisbon combining on-site and remote work.
