German-Speaking Content Moderator

Location: Lisbon (On-Site)

Schedule: 24/7 Monday to Sunday (rotative shifts with 2 consecutive days off)

Languages Required: German (C1C2) English (B2)

As a Content Moderator you will review and process reported online content in line with clearly defined community guidelines. You will ensure the platform remains safe and welcoming for all users.

• Review and evaluate content against community standards.
• Identify violations and take appropriate action.
• Handle sensitive content carefully and objectively.
• Escalate complex cases according to company procedures.
• Manage large volumes of reports especially during highactivity periods like campaigns or promotions.

• Fluency in German (C1 or C2) and good command of English (B2).
• Strong communication skills with empathy and professionalism.
• Resilience and the ability to make quick sound decisions.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts (including nights weekends and public holidays).
• Important: Applicants must not have previously worked for ByteDance in any role department or country.

• Monthly Gross Base Salary: 1100 (paid over 14 months/year)
• Bonus: 100/month (paid over 11 months/year)
