Job Summary
Hiire is supporting a leading Portuguese technology company operating in a highly specialized and regulated sector recruiting a Financial Controller to join the team.

EIDs knowledge and technological capabilities rely on the experience and expertise of highly qualified electronics software and communications engineers who represent the majority of the company workforce.
Financial support for EIDs annual budget forecasts and monthly closing activities focusing on delivery projects
Responsible for monitoring ongoing projects costs and margins
Review of financial terms for commercial proposals
Active participation in Commercial Gate Reviews and in Project Management Reviews
Financial control timeline and delivery tracking for project risk management
Financial support for the renegotiation of ongoing contracts
Provide financial data analysis and reports to support management decisions
Support audits and ensure data accuracy consistency and compliance
Extract validate and reconcile financial data from SAP
Build and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI
Work closely with PMO Commercial Controlling Accounting and other business functions
Minimum 3 years of experience in Controlling FP&A or Financial Analysis
Degree in Economics Management or similar field
Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
Great command of Excel (MS Office) with complex modelling and analytics
Good skills in PowerPoint for executive presentations
Practical knowledge of Power BI for reporting and analysis
Experience working with SAP (preferred)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication skills in English
