JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for the financial management of a property (or group of properties) for a client and fulfilling the financial obligations under the terms of the propertys management agreement.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform all lease administration/ financial duties including AP/AR.
  • Ensure compliance with financial property management policies and procedures codes regulations and governmental directives
  • Preparation of operating and capital budgets track variances perform year-end reconciliations and ensure smooth recovery process
  • Accurately abstract all property leases in lease administration software
  • Maintain interface with third-party owners and accounting team to ensure total contract compliance including preparation of accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Participate in financial and client team meetings and ensure effective communication between accountants and property management team members in order to achieve clients goals and objectives
  • Provide and foster positive relationships with tenants clients and third-party entities

IMPORTANT EDUCATION

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting Business Administration Economics or related discipline.

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 1 year of real estate financial management or related financial experience
  • Strong knowledge of finance
  • Ability to analyze prioritize and deliver.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of Yardi

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a professional office environment in the greater Lisbon area. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers videoconference and phones.
