We have a Shared Services Center in Leiria in the Accounting area which is responsible for accounting and finance operations in Portugal Spain Belgium France Italy and all the commercial activities carried out by the website . As part of our Finance transformation journey we are looking for a Finance Excellence Manager to strengthen our continuous improvement capabilities and accelerate process optimization automation and governance across the Shared Services Center..

What will you do

• Lead the Finance Excellence agenda across P2P O2C and R2R processes.
• Identify and drive process improvement and standardization opportunities reducing manual activities and increasing efficiency.
• Lead and coordinate Finance transformation initiatives from opportunity identification through implementation and benefits tracking.
• Promote better utilization of SAP and digital tools identifying opportunities for automation and simplification.
• Develop and maintain the SSC governance framework including KPIs process documentation SOPs and performance monitoring.
• Partner with process managers and Finance teams to strengthen process ownership internal controls and operational effectiveness.
• Coordinate SAP improvements testing and UAT from a Finance process perspective.
• Explore and implement appropriate automation and AI use cases within Finance.
• Support the development of a continuous improvement culture building capabilities and sharing best practices across the SSC.
• Work with local and Group stakeholders to ensure transformation initiatives are aligned with business and Finance priorities.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance Accounting Management Engineering or a related field.
• Relevant experience in Finance transformation process improvement or Shared Services ideally within an international environment.
• Strong understanding of Finance processes particularly P2P O2C and/or R2R.
• Experience with SAP and a strong interest in leveraging technology to improve Finance processes.
• Demonstrated experience in continuous improvement process optimization and project/change management.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel; experience with Power Query Power BI or automation tools is an advantage.
• Ability to translate business problems into practical and sustainable solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to work across functions and countries.
• Hands-on and pragmatic mindset comfortable combining strategic thinking with execution.
• Fluent English
