Extracurricular Internship R&D Engineer for Heat Pump Water Heaters (fmdiv.)

We are looking for a motivated engineer to join our R&D team and support the development validation and launch of next-generation heat pump water heaters. This role offers the opportunity to work close to product innovation laboratory testing and engineering decision-making contributing directly to new product introduction and continuous improvement.

Your contribution to something big:

• Support the development and industrialization of new heat pump water heater products;
• Analyze current and upcoming legislation standards and technical requirements applicable to products;
• Define validation strategies test plans and engineering test methods;
• Execute laboratory testing measurements and performance evaluations;
• Prepare clear technical reports and communicate results to stakeholders;
• Participate in troubleshooting brainstorming and root cause analysis activities;
• Support engineering change management processes during product development;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D Quality Product Management and Manufacturing.

Qualifications :

What distinguishes you: 

• Academic Degree in Mechanical Engineering Energy Engineering or similar technical field;
• Knowledge in turbomachinery and aerodynamics and strong interest in thermal systems refrigeration or sustainable technologies;
• Good communication skills in Portuguese and English;
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and technical topics simultaneously;
• Innovative mindset with willingness to challenge and improve existing solutions.
