Extracurricular Internship Quality Engineering & Digitalization (fmdiv.)

Your contribution to something big:

• Support Local Quality Engineers (LQO) in the approval and release of new products process and engineering changes and participate in quality problem-solving activities using methodologies such as 8D FMEA Root Cause Analysis and Lessons Learned;
• Support product audits (Q-Test) reliability testing (Z-Test) to fulfill the annual planning deviation management and containment actions;
• Develop and optimize dashboards reports and databases to enhance quality performance monitoring and decision-making;
• Apply digital solutions and Artificial Intelligence tools to automate reporting activities improve data validation processes and strengthen decisions through the four-eyes principle;
• Analyze manufacturing and quality data to identify trends detect risks and support the transition from reactive problem-solving to predictive and preventive quality management;
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects focused on process efficiency data transparency and operational excellence.

Qualifications :

What distinguishes you: 

• Masters or Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Electromechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering and Management Physics Engineering Data Analytics or a related field;
• Interest in Quality Management Manufacturing Processes and Continuous Improvement methodologies;
• Basic understanding of problem-solving methods such as 8D FMEA Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing is a plus;
• Knowledge of data analysis tools such as Excel Power BI Python SQL or AI-based solutions is highly valued;
• Fluency in Portuguese and English both written and spoken;
• Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving approach and ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within international multidisciplinary and multicultural teams;
• Curious mindset with a willingness to challenge the status quo and continuously improve processes.
