Engenheiro | Backend Developer

• Apply continuous integration (CI) strategies and platforms as well as automated testing tools and procedures;
• Prepare and maintain development documentation;
• Ensure that software development complies with established requirements including but not limited to security scalability and performance. Actively contribute to product design technical architecture and implementation while adhering to CEiiAs software development standards and processes;
• Develop software using Java and cloud-based solutions.

Qualifications :

• Degree or Masters degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering Electrical Engineering Aerospace Engineering or related areas;
• At least 3 years of experience in software development;
• Proficiency in any OOP languages and derivates (Java Go others);
• Experience developing with JVM-based Frameworks;
• Solid knowledge in API RESTful RPC or GraphQL;
• Solid knowledge of relational and non-relational databases;
• Proficient in using Git for version control;
• Experience with message brokers and event streaming systems (e.g. Kafka RabbitMQ or NATS);
• Demonstrated ability to write clean maintainable performant and scalable code with a strong emphasis on best practices and architectural patterns (TDD DDD clean architecture);
• Capacity to design and implement unit and integration tests;
• Good knowledge of CI/CD pipelines;
• Ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment;
• Structured self-organized and collaborative way of working;
• Creativity and aptitude for problem-solving and critical thinking;
• Good level of spoken and written English;
• Decision making and team management.

Desirable (no excludable):

• Familiarity with Cloud platforms (AWS GCP or Azure);
• Experience with load testing (K6 JMeter);
• Experience with monitoring logging and metrics tools (e.g. Prometheus Grafana OpenTelemetry ELK Stack);
• Experience with critical high-availability and scalable systems;
• Experience with real-time systems.
