DevOps Software Engineer – Embedded Systems (fmdiv.)
Job Summary
Your contribution to something big:
You will be part of an international agile development team focused on the development of automotive embedded software. As a DevOps Engineer you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth integration of CI/CD practices into the software development lifecycle.
You will contribute to improving development workflows through automation and process optimization while providing support and guidance to team members on CI/CD tools and practices.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Design implement and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines to automate software build integration testing and deployment processes.
- Ensure the reliability efficiency and security of CI/CD pipelines supporting both development and operational requirements.
- Analyze existing development workflows and engineering processes identifying opportunities for automation optimization and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with development operations Product Owners and colleagues worldwide to align tooling and processes with product and organizational goals.
- Implement and promote best practices for Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery and DevOps contributing to increased productivity and software quality.
- Support the troubleshooting and resolution of pipeline tooling and deployment-related issues ensuring stable and efficient development environments.
- Provide support and guidance to team members on CI/CD tools and practices.
- Share responsibility for the quality and efficiency of software delivery by supporting team members participating in peer reviews and contributing expertise in automation and process improvement.
Qualifications :
What distinguishes you:
Experience / Know-how
- Strong experience in designing implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with automation and DevOps tools such as Jenkins Git Docker and Python.
- Solid understanding of Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery and DevOps principles.
- Experience in build test deployment and release automation.
- Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies particularly Scrum.
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving build deployment and integration issues.
- Familiarity with version control branching strategies and code quality practices.
