DevOps Engineer (Database Administration & Cloud Infrastructure) Aveiro

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in database administration and infrastructure management. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in database installation configuration high-availability architectures replication technologies backup and recovery processes performance optimization and troubleshooting. This role requires solid Linux and networking knowledge with cloud Kubernetes and containerization experience considered a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Install configure and administer PostgreSQL Oracle and MongoDB databases.
• Ensure the availability reliability and performance of database platforms.
• Design implement and manage high-availability replication and disaster recovery solutions.
• Define execute and monitor backup and recovery strategies.
• Perform database performance analysis and tuning to optimize system efficiency.
• Diagnose and resolve incidents and technical issues related to database environments.
• Administer and support Linux-based operating systems and virtualized infrastructures.
• Collaborate in the management and support of cloud infrastructures.
• Participate in the implementation maintenance and optimization of Kubernetes environments and container-based solutions.
• Work closely with infrastructure and development teams to ensure the stability scalability and security of platform services.

Qualifications :

Education

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Engineering Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in DevOps Systems Administration Database Administration or a related infrastructure role.
