We are seeking a Data Management & Governance Specialist for the Center of Excellence of Global Digital Data Arch & Engineering.

Main responsibilities:

  • Support the rollout and adoption of EDPs data governance and data quality practices across business domains and federated Data & AI teams.
  • Helping ensure that critical data is clearly owned well-defined documented monitored and continuously improved.
  • The role focuses on applying governance standards defining and tracking data quality controls supporting glossary and catalogue adoption measuring adherence to policies coordinating remediation actions and enabling teams to improve trust in data used for analytics AI reporting and operational decisions.

What are we looking for:

  • Bachelors degree in software engineering computer science systems engineering business management or related field.
  • Excellent written and spoken English (mandatory). Good written and spoken Spanish (plus)
  • At least 3 years specific experience in data management projects.
  • Experience of working in a data office data governance or data quality role.
  • Experience of data quality definition implementation monitoring and remediation.
  • Experience of Data & AI governance glossaries data dictionaries data catalogues in reference Data Governance Tools (e.g. Purview).
  • Experience of designing and/or implementing Data & AI policies and standards and measuring adherence.
  • We value:
    • Experience designing and implementing analytical data systems as a data engineer.
    • Microsoft/Azure ecosystem experience.
    • Databricks platform experience.
    • Knowledge on the implementation of data pipelines and related technologies such as SQL Databricks or Data Factory.
    • Microsoft/Azure Databricks certifications.
    • Databricks certifications.
    • DAMA certification.
    • Utilities business awareness/business domain knowledge.
  • Strong knowledge of data management data governance and data quality best practices.
  • Knowledge on visualization tools (e.g. PBI).
  • Excellent analytic and structuring capability.
  • Proactive autonomy strong sense of responsibility and resilience.
  • Strong value realization collaboration communication negotiation influence and strategic vision.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and change management skills.
  • Experience of maintaining information and documentation using collaboration tools.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence others to achieve objectives.
  • Experience of working in a complex global organization.
  • Able to work in a multi-project environment.
