Job Description
As a Commerce Delivery Lead you will be responsible for overseeing the planning execution and delivery of complex product development initiatives within a critical E-Commerce program. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are completed on time within scope and meet the highest quality standards for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning execution and delivery of product development initiatives.
- Define the delivery scope goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with client management and stakeholders.
- Develop detailed delivery plans including timelines milestones and resource allocation.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery requirements are clearly understood and met.
- Monitor project progress identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure timely and effective communication with stakeholders providing regular updates and status reports.
- Facilitate meetings and discussions to drive decision-making and resolve delivery issues.
- Manage changes to the delivery scope and schedule.
- Ensure that deliveries are delivered on time and within scope.
- Conduct post-delivery evaluations and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the product management team to define product vision strategy and roadmap.
- Report and escalate to Programme Management.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Commerce Delivery Lead in a technology-driven environment.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g. Agile Scrum Waterfall Hybrid) and tools (e.g. Jira Trello MS Project).
- Demonstrated experience in product management including product lifecycle management and roadmap development.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple topics simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- PMP PMI-ACP or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD and monitoring tools (Bamboo / Jenkins or similar Grafana / OpenSearch or similar) is a plus.
