Job Summary
Overview:
We are expanding our Transversal Squad with Business Data Analyst who will drive the design development and rollout of our Data Factory this role you will work side by side with developers data engineers and product owners to turn business needs into a robust scalable data aggregation platform.
Data Factory is a strategic initiative that will deliver a Data Aggregation & Curation platform built on a relational database and modern ETL pipelines. The objective is to create a single centralised repository that holds a copy of all operational and referential data fully harmonised quality checked and ready for downstream consumption.
What will you do
- Gather and analyze requirements from business stakeholders data owners and regulatory teams.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications (user stories acceptance criteria data model diagrams).
- Create and maintain documentation (requirements catalog data dictionary process maps test plans).
- Facilitate test planning by participating in design test cases
- Communicate progress and outcomes to stakeholders through sprint demos status reports and reviews
- Identify improvement opportunities in the transversal framework propose enhancements
- Collaborate with the ETL development team to design optimal data flow and transformation logic
- Define implement and maintain the data quality framework (rules thresholds validation check)
What are we looking for
- 6 years of experience
- SQL development skills (Oracle is the DB used)
- PL/SQL development skills
- IBM Datastage PX and/or other similar ETL tools
- Agile Project Management Tools Manage backlogs user stories and traceability in Jira or Azure DevOps; ensure requirements are linked to test cases and delivery artifacts
- Data Analysis & Visualization Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) statistical summarization and create visual insights (PowerBI Tableau or Excel) to support requirementgathering and decision making.
- Data Quality & Profiling Techniques Use data profiling methods to define validation rules cleansing procedures and quality metric dashboards
- Autonomous organized and delivery-focused with attention to detail
- Dynamic and proactive taking own initiative to mitigate risk and prevent issues arising
- Great communication skills while being capable of negotiating with sponsors and reaching to an agreement
- Ability to work well under pressure and tight timeframes
- Good work ethic and high levels of motivation
- English (read spoken written - C level minimum)
- French knowledge is a nice to have
- Portuguese Mastery
