Business Analyst Travel Management (mfdiv.)
Job Summary
1) Process & Requirements Management
- Analyze and model end-to-end processes within the business travel ecosystem (as-is/to-be) including identification of automation levers
- Elicit structure and prioritize requirements (e.g. user stories acceptance criteria); facilitate workshops and ensure stakeholder alignment
- Act as the interface between business and IT/implementation partners (collect understand and translate requirements) a core responsibility of the BA role
2) Use Case Development & Business Value
- Build and further develop a use case pipeline (ideation workshops evaluation based on value feasibility and ROI)
- Develop business cases including KPI definition (e.g. efficiency quality customer satisfaction savings) and success measurement
3) Solution Design & Implementation (with market solutions)
- Evaluate standard cloud and tool solutions as well as AI/agent-based approaches with a focus on API-based integration and pragmatic implementation (make or buy)
- Support tenders and proposal evaluations fit-gap analyses proof of concepts and implementation and rollout planning
- Contribute to quality assurance acceptance testing hypercare and transition into operations (including documentation and knowledge transfer)
Qualifications :
- Degree in Business Informatics Computer Science Business Administration Engineering or a comparable qualification
- 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst Requirements Engineer or Process Manager in digitalization or automation projects
- Understanding of integrations and data flows (APIs interfaces data quality)
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken) / German (as additional)
- Experience with RPA/workflow automation or AI use cases (e.g. prompting evaluating AI outputs governance/data privacy awareness)
- Experience in selecting and managing external service providers (RFPs vendor scoring SLAs/operating models)
- Domain knowledge in Travel & Expense is an advantage
