B2B SaaS SEO & AEO Content Marketer
Job Summary
Kairos Labs is a pipeline agency for B2B SaaS. Our clients dont buy articles from us. They buy pipeline sign-ups demos closed-won sized in dollars. SEO and answer engine optimization are the lever not the product.
We work with leading SaaS and professional services brands across the US and EU in cybersecurity fintech FinOps and work management. Founder-led bootstrapped profitable from day one small on purpose.
Two things make the work different. Our workflows are RAG-based: we embed a clients product demos sales calls SME interviews and writing style before we produce anything. And we run AEO as an experiments: prompts tracked daily retrieval and citation measured against a control.
This is a writing-first seat and you own each piece end to end. The angle the research the draft the self-QA the clients comments and the live page quick QA after it ships.
Roughly how the week goes: 60% research and running AI flows 15% briefs and angles 15% client feedback 10% improving pipelines.
- Set the angle before the outline what the piece argues to whom and what a reader gets here that the pages already ranking dont have
- Write blog posts landing pages comparison and category pages and refreshes across your assigned accounts
- Run pre-writing checks: the live SERP at the clients market the content-audit action plan for any refresh and a site: check for pages that already cover the topic
- Write in the clients voice clean of AI-isms matched to their style artifact in the correct market register
- Place the product where it earns its place: where it solves a stated pain in the clients own category language never as an invented feature
- Source every claim against the primary source or cut it
- Keep the client artifacts updated create new ones review what our platform generates correct whats wrong approve it for use
- Fix the machine not just the piece. A defect that repeats goes to the platform lead instead of into your hand-fixes forever
How the work flows.
The Strategist/Founder sets the strategy and cluster architecture. You get a content calendar. You write the brief and its angle outline and submit draft. Your editor reviews the article. If youre able to self-edit even better.
Then a Strategist submits an article batch per week to a customer waiting for feedback. Once the customer feedback is shared you address it.
In full-time role youll produce content for 4 customers between 40-49 pieces a month.
What we believe about AI and you need to as well.
AI does not beat a brilliant human writer. It comfortably beats an average one. The average writer loses the thread of an argument pads to word count and doesnt think hard enough about whos reading. A strong writer running a well-fed pipeline wins every time because the thinking stays with the person and the mechanics move to the machine.
Writing is thinking. If you think the model replaces the thinking youll be miserable here. If you think it speeds up everything that isnt the thinking this is your seat.
Who you are:
- A writer who understands SaaS businesses. You know a buying committee from a buyer why a security review kills a deal in month four and why a VP of Finance and a controller read the same page differently
- You have a product marketing bone in your body. You shape the angle around how the client should be positioned not around where a mention will fit. Category alignment matters more in AEO than it ever did in SEO because the model repeats the frame it was given
- Already AI-native and you improve what you use. Youve edited a prompt corrected an artifact and noticed when a defect repeated
- You start things. You flag a blocker before you begin rather than mid-draft and nobody chases you for a date
- You take feedback as information. I didnt know I messed up heres the fix is always fine here. Explaining why a miss wasnt your fault is not
- You cover and move. Writers editor platform strategy and ops work one client problem not six
Non-negotiable:
- B2B SaaS writing experience
- Hundreds of published SEO articles not dozens
- Native-level written English with clean US register on demand
- Real experience running AI content workflows and improving them
- You read search intent off a SERP rather than off a chart you build for information gain and you validate sources before you cite them
Strong signals:
- Commercial pages landing comparison alternatives category and not only blog posts
- Deliberate work on AI visibility or LLM citations with a measurement approach behind it
- Youve interviewed a subject-matter expert and produced something better than a transcript
- Youve turned something you did three times into a written method
Not a fit:
- Word-count thinking or per-article math
- Competent pieces that could belong to any brand
- Needs the brief spelled out or resolves a clients comment to make a thread look clean
- Treats any task the checks and the standard as overhead
- Work with best-in-class SaaS and tech brands across the U.S. and Europe.
- You shape the AI platform we run on the tools you build become how the agency works.
- Contract remote anywhere. You choose your hours with enough European overlap
- An AI-native platform you help improve. When a workflow keeps producing the same defect we fix the workflow
- 24 days off for full-time hires national holidays
We pay for every stage past the conversation because unpaid tests tell you what someone will do for free not what theyll do for you.
- Apply send four things: three B2B SaaS pieces you wrote with the keyword the intent you read and the angle you chose for each; one piece a client pushed back on and what you changed; how you use AI in your writing today including where you override the model and what you think its bad at; and your CV
- Interview 30 minutes chat with the founder about your experiene and expectations
- Paid task one article 1500 to 2000 words. We pay $100 for a piece and we can run 2-3 pieces together
- Start freelance on live accounts with the editor reviewing every piece. From there the seat can move to full-time
