Azure Data Engineer | Databricks | Fabric | Modern Data Platforms

At BindWorks were looking for experienced Azure Data Engineers to join challenging Data & AI projects and help design build and evolve modern enterprise data platforms.

Youll work across the data lifecycle from ingestion and transformation to storage orchestration and serving using the Microsoft Azure Data ecosystem and modern engineering practices.

Were particularly interested in engineers who dont simply build pipelines but care about performance scalability data quality automation and maintainability.

• Design and develop scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes
• Build modern Data Lake and Lakehouse architectures
• Develop and optimize workloads using Azure Databricks and Apache Spark
• Implement data ingestion and orchestration using Azure Data Factory
• Work with Microsoft Fabric and modern Azure Data services
• Design efficient data models and transformation layers
• Implement Data Quality validation and monitoring mechanisms
• Optimize pipelines for performance reliability and cost
• Develop solutions using Python PySpark and SQL
• Implement CI/CD and DataOps practices
• Collaborate with Data Architects Analysts AI Engineers and business teams
• Contribute to technical design and architecture decisions

Required

• 5 years of experience in Data Engineering

• Strong experience with the Microsoft Azure Data ecosystem

• Hands-on experience with:

  • Azure Data Factory
  • Azure Databricks
  • Azure Data Lake Storage
  • Python / PySpark
  • SQL

• Experience designing ETL/ELT pipelines

• Knowledge of Data Lake / Lakehouse architectures

• Experience with relational and analytical data models

• Git and CI/CD experience

• Good understanding of Data Quality and monitoring

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Good communication skills in English
